Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and actress Kalki Koechlin, who were seeing each other, finally tied the knot in a typical South Indian style wedding ceremony on Saturday, April 30. The wedding, that took place near Ooty, was a closely guarded affair with only close family members and friends in attendance.
‘Dev D’ director Anurag Kashyap and the film’s lead actress Kalki Koechlin, who essayed the role of modern day Chandramukhi in the film, were smitten by each other since the days of making of the film. The two are now ‘just married’.
While Kalki was dressed in a traditional white and gold saree, Anurag wore a white kurta and lungi.
Some of the guests who were present to wish the couple included Anurag’s brother and ‘Dabangg’ director Abhinav Kashyap, ‘Udaan’ director Vikramaditya Motwane, producer Vikas Bahl and others.
