Wedding-Day Goof Ups That Make You Laugh!

Wedding Day Goof Ups Your Wedding Day! It is a day your family and you have been waiting for since the date was announced.

But imagine...

Amidst this picture perfect day, something weird or absurd happens. Certainly not funny at the time but these little mishaps are what make weddings memorable in the years to come.

We take you through some real life experiences where the dulha and dulhan were ready, and the kazis and pundits too were all geared up for the rites. But alas! If only lady luck had co-operated too.

Aaja meri gadi mein baith ja?
This is what Abbas wanted to tell his ladylove of 10 years just minutes before their wedding reception. Abbas had already faced Batul's anguish umpteen times for being late on various occasions. However, being a 'late lateef ' on his wedding day as well was not something he anticipated!

On the D-day as anticipated Abbas's house was overflowing with guests and they had already arranged for half a dozen extra cars to chauffeur everyone. Some confusion ensued at the actual time of departure and all the cars left - including the one Abbas was to pick Batul in. With time ticking like a time bomb, Abbas and his friend knocked on their neighbour's door and borrowed his bike keys. The dulha for the day rode a two-wheeler to pick his dulhan!

The fancy of being a pillion rider in all her wedding finery did not appeal to the bride and a rickshaw was hired to take the bridal couple to the reception venue. What a journey! The bride saw red - more from anger than her lehenga.

We advise: Hide your car keys if too many guests are around. Travelling in a two or three wheeler isn't fun on your wedding day!

You've got the wrong size honey!
She chose the ring but perhaps someone else liked it more or the sales personnel at the shop thought it was not good enough for her. How else can anyone explain the goof-up that happened with Anjali's wedding ring? The flash lights were all focused on the couple, it was Hitesh's turn to slip on the wedding ring but the ring refused to go in.

Instead of giving up he pushed harder and harder until Anjali looked down at the ring and shouted... "Hitesh stop! This ring is not mine! I had asked for a diamond ring and this is just gold". There was silence for a moment and then all the friends started laughing out loud. Anjali could not take her words back and Hitesh had no option but to convince Anjali to make-do with the small gold ring till he got her a diamond one!

We advise: Boys - Check! Check! Re-check! And girls... please keep your expectations under check in public.
