- Crowd
There are people who hate attending crowded events and wedding is definitely one of them. This is when you get to see hundreds of people who you don't even know and some people just hate that.
- Gifting
What to buy for the bride/groom can be quite a daunting task at the last minute. And so, most people end up giving cash. It saves time, plus you need not go around hunting for a suitable gift. But there are people who avoid weddings just so that they can escape, when it comes to gifting. May be they think, it's better to spend the same money at a restaurant with a friend or partner over a quite dinner, than attending a crowded event.
- Reception Rituals
While most people attending weddings can't wait to get to the food-filled reception, others actually dread the after-party that typically follows the marriage ceremony. Reception rituals like the speeches, the first dance, and the age-appropriate line dances, etc are just too much to bear.
- Boring Relatives
Once you cross 22 or 23, the first question that comes to someone's mind the minute they spot you is, "So, when do you plan to settle down?" And this can be really annoying, we understand! But most parents have found a match for their kids at someone's wedding, trust us!
- Getting Dressed Up
Gone are the days when women would love flaunting their flashy jewellery or outfit at a wedding, but not anymore! Of course, people are well-dressed, but no one likes to or rather has the time to take an hour to dress up, unless it's your sibling or relatives wedding. Men don't take too long to dress up, but women are expected to look just perfect with the right make up, outfit, footwear and accessories. Isn't that just too mch to do?
