Transform your home into a fairyland castle
 Home decor is one of the most important aspect of a wedding today as a lot of people prefer to arrange a few functions at home, be it a pooja or mehendi or a small sangeet.
Home decor can vary depending on the theme of the wedding or the personal taste. It can be made very traditional by using orange, red, maroon or bandhni drapes along with gold tissue surrounding the entire living area. The same concept can be carried on to the entrance and the lobby of the building. Fresh flowers like marigold, gerberas, etc. can enhance the overall appearance of the traditional look.
To give a western look, one can change the colour of the drapes to mauve, peach or sea-green used with silver and fresh flowers like carnations, baby roses or lilies.
A trend these days is to make use of false flowers made out of tissue or plastic. Very delicately woven, these flowers take one to a fairyland castle. The advantage of using false flower arrangements is to give the same fresh look in the house for days together unlike in the fresh flowers, which need to be changed everyday.
Big wooden partitions or frames covered with coloured tissue are also used to cover certain areas of the house as part of the decor.
Cost to do a home decor for a wedding would depend on the total area to be decorated and the use of flowers and other accessories.
