It was a package tour. It was an ideal destination for the month of December. We were always fascinated with the beauty of Kerala, the king of coconut plantation.

We travelled by train from Mumbai to Trivandrum, from there on to Kanya Kumari by bus arranged by the travel agency.
Triveni Sangam, where the Arabian Sea, Indian Ocean and the Bay of Bengal meet. Rock Memorial at Kanya Kumari, Kotayam (a hill station), Munnar - tea farms, Cochin - famous for south cotton shopping.
Instead of taking a package tour, a honeymoon couple should explore the place by themselves so that you don't have limitation on going to different places, you can manage your own time.
We had gone for a jungle safari at 1.00 am till 4.00 in the morning and this was a breath taking experience. It was a pitch black jungle with wild animals and we were guided by a light man and a gun man, who showed us around. It was a scary experience though..
