John Abraham - Damyanti: Addictive Bonding
His first love is his bike. Women can wait. In fact, to love him, they have to love his bike. It's not an easy competition. But then, it's not a lost battle either.
And the one woman who has the power to win it is Damyanti - the princess of Vidarbha. A strong-minded woman, she had once fallen in love with Nala - an emperor known for his skill with horses and food - after hearing about his virtues and accomplishments from a swan.
And even though he was addicted to gambling - like John is to his bike - she went ahead and married him after turning her back on all the Gods like Indra, Varuna, Yama and Agni who came to woo her. If there is anyone who can cope with John and his bike, it is she.
Mallika Sherawat - King Kaushik: Hard To Resist
She is the sex symbol of India. Born Reema Lamba, she adopted the screen name of Mallika, which means 'empress'. Proud to be projected and looked upon as a seductress, for Mallika, King Kaushik would be the perfect match.
King Kaushik who? Ok, let's call him by a name more known: Vishwamitra - the king who realized that the power obtained by penances is far greater than physical might. And so, he renounced his kingdom and began a penance that would give him absolute power over heaven and earth.
If then it was Menaka, the apsara, who could distract and seduce him, now it would be Mallika. Given that Vishwamitra is not easy to distract, the Bollywood diva that likes nothing better than to prove that no man can resist her charms would stay busy for a long, long time to come. That should also keep her from getting bored.
Saif Ali Khan - Shakuntala: Stuck On Each Other
Here's an actor who is, if the women in his life are to be believed, obsessed with work. He's known to forget to eat or sleep in the obsession to get into the skin of the character he is playing. His long-time girlfriend, Rosa Catalanno, with whom Saif broke up recently, said she could not take this dedication - and the mood swings that come with it - any more.
Evidentally, Saif's perfect woman should be able to stick by him through it all. So, who could it be? If you ask us, Shakuntala, the daughter of Vishwamitra and Menaka, would fit the role like a glove.
Wasn't this the beautiful woman who waited and waited for her husband, Dushyant, to come back for her while he forgot all about her, thanks to a powerful curse by Rishi Durvasa? In the end Shakuntala's dediction had borne fruit. If there is anyone who can keep Saif by her side through sheer will, it is her.
