Celeb goof-ups
Reliving funny moments on their D-Day
|
|
Between the razzmatazz of a big fat Indian wedding there are bound to be some goof-ups. But believe it or not these goof-ups can be hilarious and very entertaining. These amusing moments also leave a mark in our memories and whenever we remember them it brings a smile to our faces.
Here we take a look at the lighter side of some celebrity marriages.
Pooja Bhatt & Munish Makhija
At the time the curtain that separates the bride from the groom was being lowered, both Munna and me were clicking pictures of each other!
Mitali & Prahlad Kakkar
The wedding, which should have lasted for three hours, ended up within 45 minutes as both my father and Prahlad kept nagging the pundit to chant the mantras faster as their feet were cramped.
Sudha Chandran & Ravi Dang
Whilst the ceremony was going on in the temple, people thought it was a film shoot and they gathered to see it. This was pretty unusual because we had strangers as guests for our wedding.
Alka & Shekhar Suman
As my paghdi was very uncomfortable, I kept fidgeting with it to the extent that my wife got irritated and asked me to stay still. Also I looked like a little boy at 21 and people kept asking her if she was marrying a kid, as they thought it was a child marriage.
Gauri Pradhan & Hiten Tejwani
I changed two mehendiwalis during the pre-wedding do. The first one wasn't anything great and mid-way we had to call another one... as a result, I had two different types of designs on both hands!
Rajesh Kumar & Madhavi Chopra
As I had single-handedly organised the wedding there were many such unusual events. As soon as the band stopped playing, the bandwalla came and stood behind me when the pheras were on and began demanding his money!!
Also, I was continuously on the mobile phone coordinating with different people. As Madhavi was not ready on time I had to keep calling my friends who were dancing in the baraart to continue dancing till she was ready!
Sagarika & Martin Da'Costa
In Bengali weddings, the bridegroom wears a mukut on his head and Martin's friends thought that he was carrying a cake on his head as a tradition. Only after touching it did they realise that it was some kind of a crown and not a cake.
Mandira and Raj Kaushal
I think Raj was a little nervous about the whole thing and I think his friends gave him some alcohol to calm his nerves because he arrived a little tipped
Ayesha and Cyrus Broacha
After the wedding, when we reached home, I was still parking my car, which by God's mercy takes one hour because there is no parking space in my lane. By the time I reached home, I saw my beloved wife snoring. The only people left were my dog, my T.V and poor me.
