Why wouldn't you marry your best friend?

On the contrary I would marry my best friend because frendship is the basis of all relationships be it with your friend, lover, husband, or even your father. The greatest of relations do not work if there is no friendship. It takes friendship to cement the closeness between individuals through trying and tough times. And a best friend would make the best husband. So why not? I see no problems in marrying my best friend!

Hailing from Bihar, and living in Mumbai for over twenty years, I am a father of a married daughter. In our village the parents decide everything for their children. This is done to ensure if there is any problems after marriage that parents can intervene and solve potential problems before they exasperate. Today, in the village, times are changing. If a parent was to hear that his son or daughter had a friendship with another and wanted to marry that person most parents might object initially, but would then agree to appease their children and keep peace in the family.

I have to think about this for a moment. I wouldn't marry my best friend only due to family restrtictions. If I loved the girl enough then it wouldn't matter. On the flip-side, friendship is important, and one of the most important criterias and concerns after marriage. You have to always keep in mind, if you are not friends, you will never get along.
