Would you marry a more qualified girl? Sibaji Basu Richard D'Souza Nikhil Arya Sibaji Basu, bank manager
I would not have hesitated to marry a woman who is more educated than me because I feel that in a such a relationship, I would be able to learn new things from her. I would also look forward to lively discussions and witty conversations. Sometimes, people who don't know anything have false egoes, while people who know a lot turn out to be modest and nice, so actually it depends on the nature of the person and would not be wise to attribute it to educated women.

Absolutely... in fact, I don't get attracted by dumb beauties with whom I can't converse for more than 2 minutes! I would rather appreciate a girl who is utilising her brains and earning moolah. I bet she would be more interesting to talk to as she would be intelligent and sharp. This would help in any long term relationship as it would never be boring to be with her. I believe that if you are confident about yourself and believe in your work, then jealousy can't creep in. In my case, I may not have very high educational qualifications, but I am doing my best in the creative field of acting.

Richard D'Souza, working with a telecom company
I don't feel that I would marry a girl who is more educated and from my own field. I feel it will give rise to more arguments and conflicts in day-to-day life. This would become more complicated with competition and clash of egoes because personal and professional life are bound to meet in such a case. However, I would not mind if the girl is more educated but from a different educational background. For instance, I'm a CA and if the girl is an architect or a doctor, I wouldn't mind because then we would have no scope to interfere in each other's professional decisions and would live amicably.
