Internet scripts a unique love story
Sweta and Sudarshan

Blossoming love
"In the meantime, while we were messaging each other, I was growing in love with her. I felt that she was a person with not just physical beauty but had a soul so pure and wonderfully beautiful, many times prettier and beautiful than her body, I started respecting her and was getting more positive that she was the one whom I should grow old with."
Love you just the way you are
He pauses for a moment before admitting that he liked the way she dressed. He admits that it was amazing that they both were on the same thought processes where the feelings for one and other which just spilled-out spontaneously percolating into something pure, worthy and truthful. Just the way it should have been at the onset...where happily ever after remains untouched by the conservative shrug of the outside world.
"I started appreciating her within myself, everything she did, everything she said, and whatever she said were insanely sanely correct and positive. She taught and made me think positive, Sweta was not capable of hearing my heart, she exactly knew what to say when and how to say what. She was smart, positive, beautiful and with amazing confidence, more than to be independent she want to be self capable as she can do all the things a 'normal' girl can do, but a 'normal' girl can't do what she can," he gushes.
Mutually yours
Sweta affirms, "I was feeling a strange energy pulling us closer together, it was like God himself was directing us and trying to say that you two have found the match, I was happy, or should I be honest and say I was happiest in my whole life, I wanted to live every second with him a zillion times again."
A cut above the rest
"Like any average girl, I dreamt of happily ever after. I dreamt of someone who will be my Mr. Right. I had been waiting for someone somewhere who would know me, really love me, and is ready to marry me for who I am. Once I registered shaadi, I got a huge response immediately but I hesitated to accept anyone and think "what if" he is not honest and also I have seen lots of people suffer from a bad marriage."
Trying to put the negative thoughts to the deep recesses of her mind Sweta plunged into a serious correspondence with Sudarshan based as they both had mutually decided on "friendship".
Mr. Perfect
"I find him a very sweet and charming guy. He would woo me by giving me a flower out of his pullover where he had hidden it or by opening the door for me and offering me his handkerchief when I needed it. He keeps coming to me almost daily and does so many things for my needs since I came to Bangalore alone for my studies. Since he became involved in my deaf group and started learning lots of American Sign Language our relationship has reached a new level." admits Sweta.
Affair of the heart to marriage
"It had became an everyday affair, until one day, we realised that we are more than friends. I was so afraid of marriage to lose my freedom and independence, above all especially to a "hearing" guy since I am deaf. But he was very determined and promised me that he would never suffocate me if I marry him." She continues, "I find him a well-educated guy with lots of knowledge and patience. He came all the way to Kolkata to meet my parents to ask for my hand and won everyone's heart in my family."
According to Sweta, they are really best friends and beyond that, we are soul mates..."He is my brother, sister, father, mother, everything...I don't call it just a love relationship; it is a lot more than that."
Family consent
Sudarshan adds, "I took Sweta all the way to meet my family and I worked very hard to convince my parents to accept a hearing- impaired girl to be their daughter-in-law."
His parents like all normal parents were against the marriage. They thought once the initial attraction died down and the relationship settled into normalcy it would be difficult especially since most couples have a problem after the first heady meetings die down and real love has to deal with real life.
Happiness at last
"At last our parents agreed to get us engaged on 26th Jan. Our wedding date has been fixed and the hall is booked and all necessary things taken care of. Every single day we are looking forward for the "wedding date" and most of all looking to start our lives as a couple, to share our lives together, to stand for each other, to stand with each other experiencing the comforts and handling the difficulties head on as it arises; with each other..." says Sudarshan excitedly.
Here's to the couple's life of togetherness with champagne wishes and caviar dreams.
