Why are our sex lives so frustrating?
A male perspective

It is so sad, that the relationship between man and woman falls to the level of necessary evil, while it has the potential to be the fountain of ecstasy. When one enters into a relationship, sex looks very promising. It appears that such a beautiful experience will simply melt away all the issues one may have in the marriage. But as time passes, it simply loses its charm and becomes an addiction, a routine chore one is compelled to go through, even though it provides no joy. Why are our sex lives are so frustrating? This article is an effort to look at the basic mechanism of sex as well as various perspectives about sex, so that it can become such a joyous experience that it can take you to the state where you can have a glimpse of the divine.
Let us understand a little bit about the energy mechanism of sex. There are various chakras in the body. A chakra is nothing but an energy centre, where the energy accumulates and circulates. As the male and female come together, this energy starts to flow which leads to ecstasy. How much you enjoy sex depends upon the chakra where your energy is centred. Now let us understand one rule about the chakras. As you go higher up the chakras, the capacity to hold energy become greater. Let us say, if the lower sex chakra is like a small pond in terms of holding energy, the highest chakra or the crown chakra is like an ocean. Hence when the energy accumulates at sex chakra, it has the tendency to overflow quickly because of its small capacity. Also since the energy gets stuck in lower charkas without much movement, it begins to stink like the water in the pond, as it turns into unrest and stress. However, if the energy starts to move up the chakras and can move in loops through our astral body, it turns into ecstasy.
Now let us understand the normal sexual mechanism of man. Unfortunately for males, sex is just a release of stress; which he keeps on accumulating through out his life because of his aggressive male ego. Self centered emotions such as anger, domination, ambitions, greed etc. hinders the free flow of energy. Because of these blocks, energy can not move higher up the chakras and mostly it remains stuck in the sex chakra. Since the sex chakra has a very low capacity to hold energy, man normally cannot have sex for long. Any orgasm at the sex centre will last only for a moment. Even before the orgasm begins, it is over. That is why, more egoistic the man is, worse he is likely to perform in bed. On the other hand, for a simple hearted man with fewer complications in his life it will last much longer and hence would be much more satisfying for his partner.
No wonder, in the current age, as men chase success at all cost, their ability to enjoy sex is going down drastically. As men mostly get no satisfaction in the act of sex, their hunger remains and grows. After the stressful day, he is compelled to enter into sex, as the energy at the sex centre is troubling them. But as soon as he enters into sex, the energy erupts and he becomes hollow. This leads to immense guilt in men, as they realise that they had to enter into such an act which gave them no joy. At the same time, it is so compulsive and addictive, that they have to plead and in the process become a slave to the woman.
So this is about the sexual pattern of man. In the next article, I will discuss about the sexual pattern of woman. And then the later articles will explore the ways to come out of such self-destructive behavior and turn sex into a fountain of ecstasy.
