Eyes - The mirror of the soul

In the last article, we began to discuss the pointers to identify the soul connection. In this article we discuss the most important of that - The Eyes.
If you can relate with anyone through his / her eyes, you are relating, to who truly he is, to the totality of his soul which has evolved through its journey in many life times. Well, life after life, we evolve, our bodies definitely change. We take birth in different circumstances, which may lead to drastic changes in our mental make up. But our soul is going through a continuous journey, as every life is a lesson the soul needs to learn to reach it's ultimate objective of experiencing the divine bliss and ecstasy. Hence, our soul begins this life where it ended its last life.
Although within the same life, as we lose touch with joy, love and wonder in the process of growing up, eyes keeps becoming dull. But overall, since our eyes are the true indicators of the soul, these maintain a definitive continuity life after life. Though there may be certain times during the course of a life or many life times when the soul will go through an intense transformation. Then the whole character of "the eyes" will also go though a radical change. Eyes have a whole story to tell. Anyone with whom you had the enmity, his eyes will be repulsive to look into. Those who want to dominate you, will stare into your eyes with aggression and you will be forced to look away. Some will avoid looking into your eyes, as if they have something to hide. A few however, have such a loving look, which attracts you to keep looking into their eyes leading to a beautiful soul communion. So, now you have a clear indicator of who has spent some intimate moments with you in your past lives.
This is such a simple way of finding out the integrity of other person. Look into his eyes. Not in an aggressive and penetrative way, but in a very loving way. See, if he can hold your gaze or quickly turns his eyes away. Anyone who is avoiding eye contact with you, is not going to be reliable in relationship. Anyone who is hiding something, will hide his eyes, as eyes never speak lies.
So, look into his eyes lovingly and softly. Then notice if he can hold it. Do not force yourself. Be natural. If you have a beautiful soul connection from before, you will enjoy looking into each others eyes. After a few eye contacts, you will want to look into the eyes more and more and the fountain of bliss will begin to flow from your heart. This is the true foundation of any relationship. However, if you find it difficult to look into each other's eyes, you should be prepared for some hard work before you can derive joy and ecstasy from your relationship. There is a beautiful technique for couples based on this fundamental, to clear out agonies, distrust and disharmony from the past lives suggested by my master - Osho. I will be discussing and explaining that technique in one of the later articles in the series.
We need to understand this fact very clearly. Anyone who is going to spend this life with you, is not a stranger on your soul's journey. In some of your recent lives, you have known each other and desired to be with each other. That is why you are the life partners. And here lies the catch. The question is- what is the motive behind your desire to spend a life time together? In many cases, taking revenge is the motive. One may feel that the other one has really troubled her in the past lives and she may be gathering energy just to take revenge. If you have loved each other before in any form, be it as parent - child, be it as lovers, spouse or friends, it simply means that the true foundation for relationship is present and you have a chance to build it further. Such a connection is revealed by the eyes.
