Deepa felt like rolling her eyes in disgust, but internally realized that Manish's reaction was just an outburst of jealousy.
Looking at him in the eye, she said, "You know that isn't true Manish. I was just being polite. Turning my back would have seemed childish, as though I'm scared of saying hello."
Fortunately, for both Deepa and Manish, the incident blew over. Thankfully too, Deepa had enough presence of mind and did not reveal her contact details. Else, Ramesh could have tried to intervene and make life unpleasant for the twosome.
Handling Unwanted Complications
