The Drona Premiere
Bahu Ash Aces, Saas Jaya Crashes!

The news is finally out. Despite all the PR Junior B has been doing on telly (saw him on Bigg Boss, Ballika Vadhu and who knows where all else!) initial reports for Drona are looking rather dismal. The movie seems to be have crashed at the Box Office... and that's not all that crashed.
Check out mom Jaya at the premiere. What in the world is the otherwise elegant Jaya wearing? It's way OTT and is making her look huge! Hmm... perhaps she also wanted a billowing cape a la Abhi in Drona?
Now Ash on the other hand got it perfectly right! We absolutely love her in the gorgeous blue gown. Lots of cleavage, a great smile and a glow that refuses to quit (after more than a year of marriage? Abhi's doing something right!).
Another person who is looking to die for is PZ! It's been ages we've seen the Zinta babe in a sari - and look how well she wears it. Wonder why she doesn't wear these more often?
And as can be expected, Piggy Chops is looking stunningly sexy too. The clutch is blah! And she could have done without it, but full marks to her on the dress. It's really short and would have probably looked skanky on anybody else... Priyanka pulls it off though.
SRK and Gauri came with the kids. SRK's shirt was pretty cool and Gauri finally got her act together. Ritesh Deshmukh skinned a snake and made a ridiculous jacket of it, and Sushmita Sen is using black to cover her bulges - unsuccessfully. Sonali Bendre, husband Goldie Behl and son made a cute family. Sonali looked lovely with her short cropped hair.
And good God! What a fright Divya Dutta gave us! A terrible dress, hideous shoes and *gasp* an ugly anklet on chunky ankles. OK, she's lost weight but not enough to justify dressing like that! Another person who's lost weight is Adnan Sami. Now here's a true weight loss champion.
Sonam Kapoor looked plain and simple... weird. The dress was straight of the runway and we wish she had left it there. Twinkle Khanna on the other hand looked absolutely luscious. We must say... marriage to Akshay has made her look better than ever. The rest of the industry looked more or less fine... and that was the most entertainment that was to be had at the premiere. The rest of the evening passed away in complete boredom - watching Drona!
