Do you consult each other before taking any important financial decisions?
Yes, ofcourse we consult each other before taking any decision. Right from shopping, buying house hold stuff or even sunglasses we ask each other. When I feel I cannot take a decision I always asks Neeraj. Infact whenever necessary we ask for each other's opinion. But if it is just a matter of Rs. 1000 or 2000 I decide myself.
Who manages the finances?
Neeraj manages the finance over all. I take care of the household expenses and Neeraj takes care of the rest. And ofcourse, we have our financial advisers to tell us what is right. According to Neeraj the family has to go abroad for holidays once a year, so he plans the complete trip for us.
Do you hold individual or joint bank accounts?
We have individual accounts and also joint accounts.
Have you planned for the future? How?
We don't believe in Mutual Funds, but we have LIC policies. We have invested money in shares. We bought a house recently and may be we will go in for a bigger house after some time.
Have you ever fought over money?
No. We have never fought over money. There has been small arguments though sometimes. When we go shopping Neeraj may not let me buy a particular product for some reason as he is strict when it comes to spending money. Wherein, when I get out I have to buy something.
