Snacking and parties don't seem to be complete unless we had a dip to go with the luscious and delectable snacks at wedding functions. All we can see is some cocktail dip, or a Schezuan sauce or a mint chutney with almost all varieties of party foods. Check out some really innovative and unusual recipes for dips which are simple to make and divine in taste!
Apple walnut cheese dip
Dil vil pyaar vaar...
Ingredients:
chopped apples - 1 cup
chopped walnuts - 2 tbsp
cream cheese - 1 cup
cream - 2-3 tbsp
salt and pepper to taste
Method:
Mix well and chill.
Chickpea and paprika dip
Chora chori chane ke kheth main...
Ingredients:
boiled mashed chana - 1 cup
chopped garlic - 1 tbsp
olive oil - 1/4 cup
paprika flakes - 1 tbsp
chat masala - 1 tsp
chopped green chillies - 1 tsp
Method:
Mix together in a blender and serve chilled.
Chicken lime and mayo dip
Yeh dil hai ki manta nahi...
Ingredients:
chopped boiled chicken - 1 cup
mayonnaise - 1/2 cup
lime juice - 1 tsp
salt and pepper to taste
chopped peanuts - 1/4 cup
Method:
Mix all together, chill and serve.
Curried white sauce dip with mustard
Ishq di gali vich no entry...
Ingredients:
white sauce - 1 cup
chopped pistas - 1 tbsp
chopped raisins - 1 tbsp
tomato ketchup - 2 tbsp
chat masala - 1/3 tsp
mustard paste - 1 tsp
Method:
Mix all well and serve chilled.
