Anal sex is a high risk behaviour
Painless sore on penis
Adamu Abu Aminu asks,
I am disturbed by a strange boil very close to my penis. It is like something that is disjointed. Please advice me on what to do.
Dear Adamu,
A "painless sore on the glans penis" with previous history of an unprotected sexual act is strongly suggestive of "Syphilis".
Syphilis, though fully treatable, is a dangerous sexually transmitted disease if undetected. It is particularly notorious as it plays hide-n-seek with the patient giving him false signs of self-recovery, while it is progressing dangerously in the body. Thus a 'VDRL test' or 'TPHA test' for syphilis is a 'must' in your case to confirm the diagnosis.
I strongly recommend that you consult a Dermatologist in person to have this problem clinically diagnosed and treated immediately.
Anal sex
Amit asks,
I am 20 and I like having anal sex. I heard that if we have anal sex the spinal cord end is linked with the anus that shifts and may cause problems. Please tell me why do I feel inclined to have anal sex with guys. I want to get rid of this feeling. Please help.
Dear Amit,
Do consult a sexologist in person for help. As a medical expert, I would like to enlighten you about some medical facts related to Anal sex.
Medical science regards anal sex as "high-risk behaviour". Physiologically, the anus is not designed for penetration by any hard object. The anal sphincter tightens ordinarily if stimulated as a protective reflex action, and attempts at penile insertion may be distressing even if done slowly and gently. If the penis is forced into the anus, injury is possibile. The lining (mucus membrane) of the rectum is very thin, tears easily, does not heal very fast and so it is vulnerable to infections. Also, the tears can enlarge to a fissure or a crack leading to the outside of your body. These are very painful and extremely slow to heal. There is the possibility that a fistula could open up, allowing faeces to reroute into the abdominal cavity or into the vagina causing life-threatening, serious surgical complications. That is serious trouble! There is also the increased risk of haemorrhoids, which are quite uncomfortable. One may loose the control over anal sphincter causing continuous involuntary leakage of faecal matter.
Psychogenic erectile dysfunction
Krishna S asks,
I got married a month back. I am 29 and she is 5 yrs younger to me. I had my first sexual encounter only after marriage. However I was regularly involved in masturbation and watching pornographic content.
I always had a high desire for sex. But after marriage I found the desired sexual performance missing from me. In my initial days I always had good erection every time I had sex. But I used to ejaculate in a very short time. This improved over time. Few weeks back, we started having normal sex. Around 2-3 times a day, erection was good and time to ejaculate was pretty okay (we were alone then). Our parents got home recently. Since last week, I tend to lose erection, some times before insertion. Now I have so much tension build up about having normal sex, that I don't get a good erection at times. We end up having incomplete sex. What is going wrong? If I have to consult a doctor, what kind of doctor should I be looking for?
Dear Krishna,
It seems that you are experiencing "Psychogenic Erectile Dysfunction". Consulting a "Sex Counsellor" in person would help you to get over this problem.
