The distinct differences in the functions, - Home & Office must be recognised & accepted. Office work will have occasional demands of change, yet which will fall in a pattern. Home activity although routine, will actually fluctuate because of emotions - moods & other relative terms. It is important to accept self & situation. Acceptance of self i.e. we are Alone but not lonely ; we will have to be self sufficient in thought, feeling & action. Acceptance of situation i.e. people will be different, independent, & alone.
A major impediment for women is Cribbing - not necessarily to others, but to self. This does not help but increases self-irritation. Instead it is necessary to address the problem and try to solve it. Another area especially on the home front is Nagging. Since the members of the family do not possibly come forward to share, or your worries are far too much - repeating the same words to reinforce its importance becomes a way of life. But this negates the very purpose & is self defeating.
The capacity to "Let Go" must be developed. Do not stretch yourself; bend backwards or forward, more than it is comfortable. You have a right to live, for if you live, everyone else will. You are the centre, around which all your loved ones move & live. If you cannot & do not feel like completing some task at hand, leave it. Come back to do it later (except emergency & very important situations). This will give you relaxation, mental strength, high spirit, creative ideas & a WILL.
The world thrives on contributions of women that are unseen, unknown but are felt every moment. This precious contribution has to continue, if the world has to continue. But woman will have to rise not only through seminars, conferences and proclamations, but on her own. She has to rise in her own eyes, through her self esteem - being seen and living as an assertive person, balanced person; through her actions, in day to day life -managing herself, her work at home and office with equal ease, with joy that will stem from her inner strength and capacity to share her time with others and her own self.
