One has to be warm and friendly but not a FRIEND to juniors. The distinction must be maintained. You must also be clear in your direction and be assertive. Please see your own expressions in the mirror and try to improve your communication. Another aspect is to try and understand the understanding capacity of your juniors and colleagues and accordingly interact.
