Besides, you can prevent jock itch from reoccurring by taking a few preventive measures like:
- Shower straight after a workout or heavy physical activity.
- Avoid using strong soaps and deodorants. Soaps made of organic substances are usually milder and free of irritants/chemicals.
- Dry yourself well after bathing and regularly apply talc to the fold of skin between your leg and groin.
- Change your underwear regularly, especially when you've sweated after a workout.
