Interdependence
Because modern marriages require both; an ability to go out and be successful in the world, as well as "switch-off" and spend quality time with the family, a man would be wise to develop the quality of interdependence. This means not being fiercely independent in one's approach to life, but also not being spinelessly dependent in any matters either. Interdependence means you divide duties in life, but are able to help each other if necessary. Or let's put it simply: LEARN TO COOK AND CLEAN GUYS!!
Creativity
The huge variety of events that one faces in daily life provides ample scope for the development of good judgment and creativity. Be spontaneous in expressing your love for your loved ones! Don't let life just settle into a boring rut. Being a creative person doesn't necessarily mean drawing and painting; it means being able to creatively solve the problems of life and creatively find ways of manufacturing love, joy and happiness within the parameters of the daily life. A creative, spontaneous person is fun to be around.
Honesty
Words cannot express how important this quality is to women. It is the very foundation of any relationship. Being honest is not just not-lying, it means being truly sincere, thoroughly pure, absolutely devoid of falsity and fakeness. Be honest. Loyal. True. Transparent. Not just with her, but with yourself as a person. That is beautiful. Crystal-clear purity. WOW. ROCKING!
Personality
I put this last, but that doesn't mean it isn't important. It's just that the food must be prepared well before it is decorated and presented to the guests. So first work on your inner self and let that blossom out, instead of going from the outside-in as is commonly done. But while you are inwardly blossoming, do make sure you take care of yourself by doing all you can to develop your outer personality as well. This means daily, rigorous exercise; disciplined adherence to personal hygiene habits; and meticulous grooming. Be your best, do your best and look your best!
