Fertility Treatment

I am 39 yrs old and my husband and I have been trying for our first child for almost a year. I have seen my doctor regarding this but he says that I should keep trying, as fertility treatment is not a good option for me considering my age and my regular periods. When you are 50 yrs old and looking back at your life, you should never have any regrets that you left any stone unturned and didn't give yourself the best shot at fertility treatment.
