I am married for 8 yrs. Since the last 5 yrs we are trying for child but at the same time I want to let you know that I am working on ship and my contract is for 9 months and 3 months vacation, so practically in 5 yrs we have tried for 1 yr only.

Recently I did my sperm test in and it is showing 16 ml per million and I could only give 1 ml sample for test. The doctor recommended me to take Fertyl-M, Ayurvedic medicine C Oligex. My wife has undergone tests and everything is normal. She was suggested for Laparascopy, which we are planning to do this time.
My question to you sir is that my wife is near to the ovulation date. Can we conduct this surgery? Also end of next month I have a joining date. Could you also recommend me what medicines I should take to increase my sperm count?

There's no need for a laparoscopy if the HSG is normal! I agree you have male factor infertility due to a low sperm count (oligoasthenospermia). I am sorry, but there is no way of improving sperm count or motility. Please get it re-checked again.
