Acute Dandruff

Dandruff on my scalp shows up on 3rd or 4th day after I have washed my hair. My scalp feels layered with it most of the times. I had used Head & Shoulder shampoo for years and right now I don't use any particular one. What should be my routine for healthier scalp?
Dear Foram,
Dandruff is never curable it is always controllable. Frequent washing is the key to keep dandruff at bay. I suggest you to wash your hair every alternate day using a normal shampoo and don't go for any anti dandruff shampoo at this juncture.

You have to show a trichologist to understand black marks which may be because of hyper pigmentation which it self can be because of some underlying cause in your body. So, you would need to meet a trichologist in person to conclude the exact nature of the infection.
