B) Surgical Hair Camouflage is performed by single hair follicle grafting and is available for the first time in India. This hair is transplanted to the front of the head, using approximately 2000 - 2500 follicles at one time. The follicles are placed 1.5 - 2 mm apart in an interdigitating break pattern; with the direction determined by the patient's hairstyle. Since the procedure is performed under local anesthesia, the patient can choose to stay overnight at the hospital or go home. Antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication is advised for five days after the surgery. Within three-four months, hair growth is manifested in the follicles. Single hair follicle grafting is a long-term solution to typical male and female pattern balding.
C) Temporary Hair Camouflage is just right if you have thinning hair but want them to look full and luxuriant for special occasions. In this treatment, a complex of tiny micro fibre hair blends in with your hair and scalp. Applied by sprinkling it over your thinning area, it electro-statically bonds to your own hair, giving it the appearance of fullness. It stays in place until you shampoo it out.
