Fashion, stress and hair loss
Fashion and stress are modern day culprits, which play an important role in increasing the hair and scalp problems of individuals.
Stress leads to an increase in the production of chemicals called neuropeptics in the body. These neuropeptics increase the auto-immune reaction of the body and causes baldness in patches and hair loss. In females, an increase in stress levels leads to Female Pattern Baldness and in males it causes a type of baldness known as Male Pattern Baldness. Nobody can escape from stress and the best way to beat stress is through healthy eating and occasional relaxation.
Today, nobody seems to be happy with his or her hair. If their hair is curly, they want it to be straight and silky and vice versa. The result is that saloons are flooded with requests to change the appearance of the hair and many people go away with destroyed hair.

However, in the process some amount of Cystic Acid is generated. So, if you want to perm your hair or get is straightened, make sure you don't do so too frequently. Permanent chemical dyes may damage the hair by breaking through the cuticle shield to invade the cortex. Certain hairstyles are like torture to the hair. Avoid tight braids and ponytails as these may break and tear of the hair shaft.
Lastly, if you notice worrying changes in your hair - such as hair loss, itchy scalp, and split ends - contact a trichologist immediately. You may be too fashionable and stressed out for your hair's liking.
