5 Uses of Vaseline
|
 When your stuffing your bag with oddles of make-up and grooming products, make sure you toss a box of Vaseline as well. It's small, useful, easy on your pocket and never expires. And, if you think you don't need it because you don't suffer from chapped lips, let us tell you that Vaseline can also be put to other uses...
- Eye Shine
Dab a little vaseline on your eyelids before applying eye-shadow to make it last all day. And if you want to add extra shine to your lids, you can safely apply some over the eye-shadow too. You can also apply a bit of it on your cheeks for a dewy look. Vaseline is one thing that can be used for make up and for removing it too.
- Bag it
If your leather bag has suddenly started looking dirty, make sure you treat it to vaseline. It will bring back the shine and make it as good as new - well almost!
- Nail it
Rub petroleum jelly on the skin around your nails before polishing them. It softens the cuticles and keeps them healthy.
- Get Nosey
If you're suffering from a bad cold, make sure you apply a little vaseline to your runny nose. We're not kidding you into believing that it will cure your cold, but we can assure you that it will take care of the sore nose. You can also use it as a general moisturiser all over the body. Apply a bit of it on your face at night and wake up to wonderfully soft skin.
- Hair jelly
Use just a touch on the ends of your hair to hide that dryness and split ends. And if your brat of a nephew has stuck bubblegum on your hair, you can get rid og it with vaseline petroleum jelly.
