Shopping
"I do not manufacture my own textiles as each outfit is a unique creation. Thus I take the bride shopping for the base fabric. There's so much available in the market and to choose from so it usually isn't a problem. The popular selections consist of brocades, silks, tussars , and satin."
Step 4
"A 4 by 4 swatch is created utilising the fabric, sample of suggested embroidery complete with crystals, gold work, gungaroos , and any other decorative items that would be used on the base fabric to enhance. I have painted gold work designs, utilised scalloping technique where the fabric is cut in different places into a motif design and then embroidered etc..."
Step 5
"Once the sample has been approved, then a proper sketch is made of the outfit. This includes colour, design, accessories, and any other pertaining information." This is presented to the bride/client with the estimated cost. Also included are suggestions for anything from make-up, hair, jewellery and accessories that would be specific to the outfit in focus."
For NRI's I am available on Fax or by telephone. Usually they have a relative in the city that communicates their wishes and specifications and a lot of the ground work is completed before the bride arrives in the city.

Clothes - Rs, 1000- Rs 3 lakhs for blouses to lehngas and sarees
Bags - Rs. 1800 - 3000
