Swapnil Shinde Gave Fashion A Romantic Touch
When a collection is almost like a swan song as an inspiration there may be signs of strong surreal touches with gothic, romantic and brit influences. The colour story was brooding dark with black, ivory, blue, grey, dirty silver and bright orange. The look moved from drapes to full volumes for dresses with hooped petticoats.
The fabrics were rich satin, net and the interesting ones were the gold / bronze sequin dress with netback and the blue shaded crimped mini. Checks, which looked almost Tartan in appearance, were used for the dresses, the very broad belts, skirts and tight pants. Men's wear was also daring with zippered Tees and trousers or the checks appeared for a silk jacket.
The final line of gowns in bronze, gold, white and turquoise were elegant and lean. Here was a collection that will evoke great interest no matter who wears it where and when.
