Ranna Gill's Sizzling "Havana"

Gowns seem to be picking up with Indian fashion as Ranna Gill's collection also displayed floor length evening dresses that added a sense of glamour to her otherwise fun collection.
The NIFT graduate's show titled 'Havana' had frolic, varied styles and sensuality along with bright hues. Just as the city Havana would symbolise, the collection was inspired by the Cuban capital with colours, style and Spanish music adding to the feel of the show.
The lines were heavy on prints with both graphic and geometrical prints saturated in sparkling summer hues of cobalt, jade, violet, canary yellow and classic white. Ornate hand-worked blouses and draped ensembles were for the daytime as well as eveningwear.
The showstopper was Gill's sensuous line of funky swimwear that encompassed both bikinis and one-piece suits in floral colours. Along played the big white tote bags to go with both the swimwear and other dresses.
