Sirali By Gunjan & Rahul
|
Sirali, founded by Rahul Jain and Gunjan Arora in 1998, means 'the peacock's plume', epitomizing beauty. For Rahul and Gunjan it is the embodiment and the soul of the magnificence of India's traditional arts and crafts, which they have sought to bring to their exquisite collections. The essence of the Sirali collection lies in tie-n-dye and printing techniques layered with variations in texture and subtle fabric ornamentation.
Sirali offers a wide range of clothes that is presented in six collections each year - pre-summer, summer, high summer, festive and pre-fall - for both men and women. The use of a diverse palette of colours and textures makes every collection unique in itself. In addition, the Sirali styling is classic, using the natural feel and flow of the fabrics.
The forte of the label lies in Rahul's and Gunjan's ability to retain their originality and to steer clear of the mundane. Redefining the traditional crafts, the duo has endeavoured to give men and women's fashion an international look that spells indigenous character.
High-end fashion boutiques such as "Samsaara" in Delhi & Chandigarh, "Collage" in Bangalore, "Kali" in Kolkata ,"Saga" in Mumbai, "Studio Ivory" at Ebony-Delhi, Ludhiana & Chandigarh, Shoppers Stop "Buzz" at Delhi, H`bad & Mumbai , "AZA" in Mumbai, "Ayamik" and "Ensemble" at Delhi & Mumbai, " Sanskrit" in Hong Kong, "New look" in Riyadh and "Tara Blanca" in Tokyo showcase Sirali.
