The colour green immediately conjures up images of a lush mist amidst the background of nature: trees, plants perhaps even the sea. Moments in the richness of fertility and youth. The colour green is also associated with a range of different feelings like, "green with envy", green-rage, green with jealousy etc. The colour is associated with calm and its energy is related to the heart.
In fashion speak, it is the grounded colour, from the earth, along with rusts and browns. It is understated, rich, yet full of fervor and vigor. In India, it has surfaced as a must have in one's bridal trousseau.
