Embroidered silk satin chinoiserie(the imitation of Chinese motifs) and pussy bow blouses that have rocked international markets are the highlights for the season. " The latest festive collection celebrates youth and fun, through flouncy, feminine skirts and tops in rich no-holds barred hues that make great entrance statements,'' Anita explains.
Turquoise, topaz yellow and ruby coloured off-the-shoulder tops with flouncy skirts are the season's rage. Unlike most designers who rely heavily on embellishments, Anita prefers to use fabric in such a way, that it is an adornment in itself. In her new collection, Dongre has created a new look by burning the yarn to create exquisite detailing in the clothes.
Forming an integral part of the collection are long linear silk skirts with bustiers. The pieces can be worn as separates and even with jeans. For femininity that flatters the female form are pieces in georgettes and crepes.
