"We've done what could be generically called the Punjabi mela theme for many such functions although its really is a general theme that fuses all communities in India. We decorate the area with bangles in all colours usually tons of brights giving a kalediscope look. We also create bangle stands which reflect a stained glass colour in different areas of the hall. Another interesting idea would be to create your own rangoli patterns utilizing the bangles in their entirety or in broken pieces to create the patterns. We try and fill each corner of the room giving a typical rural ambience. 99% of our clients request multi-coloured looks, but we have also worked with the traditional bridal colours of maroon and beige in the past."
