Sania Mirza Gets Love Matched!

22 year-old Indian Tennis sensation Sania Mirza got engaged with her childhood companion Mohd Sohrab Mirza on July 10th, 2009. The engagement function was a family matter and only few people were invited to the ceremony. Sohrab Mirza is an Indian businessman and son of Adil Mirza and Noora Begum, who own the Universal Bakers chain in Hyderabad. Sania and Sohrab are long time friends and are going to be married soon.
The engagement function was held at The Taj Krishna hotel, Hyderabad. The evening's celebrations were kicked off with a ceremonial exchange of rings.
Sania wore an emerald green and gold Swarovski-studded ghagra designed by Shantanu & Nikhil, which snugly fit at the hips and gained flare around the ankles. She covered her head just as a Muslim bride is expected to. The bride-to-be looked as radiant off the courts as she does on them.
