A quiet wedding ceremony followed by a grand reception attended by the who’s who of B-town is how this couple decide to celebrate their nuptials.

Samir Soni, who gained considerable visibility on Bigg Boss 4 recently, wed Neelam Kothari, a well known film actress, in a quite ceremony. However, the reception that followed at the Taj Land’s End, Mumbai was anything but!

The bride wore a deep green velvet lehenga with pink and gold floral motifs. The groom was snappily dressed in black.

Amongst the guests were Samir’s Bigg Boss inmates Aanchal Kumar and Manoj Tiwari. Bollywood biggies like Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Rani Mukherjee, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sohail and Seema Khan, Sunil and Mana Shetty and Sonali Bendre were also in attendance.

While everyone was naturally dressed to the nines it was Shilpa Shetty who hogged all the limelight. Dressed in an ombré sari that would be difficult for anyone else to pull off, the statuesque Ms.Shetty totally worked it.

And the award for the worst dressed female of the night goes to… Rani Mukherjee! Channeling a very Bengali look, Rani’s lehenga/petticoat was so ill fitting it looked like she had borrowed it from someone 3 sizes bigger than her. Come to think of it… perhaps Ekta lent it to her because keeping true to form, Ekta came in a close runner up on the worst dressed list!
