Indraneil Sengupta And Barkha Bisht Tie The Knot

Tollywood's most gorgeous couple and the very popular Radha and Shyam of Pyar Ke Do Naam... have finally tied the knot. The couple has been seeing each other for more than 18 months.
Talk of getting married first began when Indraneil joined the popular Doli Saja Ke Rakhna soap in which Barkha plays a leading role. During the shooting of one of the episodes, Indraneil was supposed to get down on one knee and propose to Barkha. Of course, reel life came to real life and that is what set things in motion.
Soon after, Indraneil formally proposed to Barkha in December 2007 with all the drama - wine, flowers, champagne and a diamond ring.
The couple decided on a wedding date soon after and a wedding ceremony was held at Roorkee followed by a reception at Kino's Cottage in Mumbai on 30th March 2008.
For both events the couple wore colour co-ordinated outfits. For the wedding Barkha wore a lehenga in burnt orange and blue and Indraneil a blue sherwani. For the reception Barkha wore a gorgeous grey sari while Indraneil cut a dashing figure in a grey suit.
Also spotted at the reception:
- Aamir Ali & Sanjeeda here's a couple we'd like to see tie the knot. Sanjeeda looked stunning as usual in an aubergine ensemble
- Narayani Shashtri wearing a pink churidaar kurta. While the outfit was ok she could have gone easy on the pink bunny rabbit cheeks!
- Urvashi Dholakia aka Komolika in a ghastly peach / orange / whatever-this-colour-is cocktail dress. We cannot decide what was worse - the outfit or her black nails!
