President Patil Attends Deshmukh Wedding
|
The wedding of the season took place last Thursday on 28th February when Amit Deshmukh - son of Maharashtra CM Vilasrao Deshmukh and brother of Bollywood celebrity Riteish Deshmukh married Aditi Pratap Ghorpade - a TV actress.
The invitees included none other than President Pratibha Patil, PM Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi herself. All three came to bless the bridal couple.
Unlike younger brother Riteish, Amit is actively involved with his father in politics. He currently acts as the CM's political manager in his Latur constituency.
The bride Aditi, is a TV actress and daughter of businessman Pratap Ghorpade from Bangalore.
The wedding also saw many celebrities from Bollywood including Rekha, Vivek Oberoi, Arjun Rampal, John Abraham, Lata Mangeshkar & Asha Bhosle, Jeetendra, Anjala Zaveri & Deepa Sahi.
