Kapoor Khandaan Leads The Way!

Since it went red carpet last year, the Filmfare Awards have become THE event to attend for the Bollywood fraternity. Of course, the conspicuous absence of the Bachchans (Amitabh, Jaya, Abhishek & Aishwarya couldn't all have been busy the same day!) from the show was unexpected while Aamir Khan was consistent in his boycott.
In addition to being the most popular awards in India, the Filmfare is also an event where the who's who of Bollywood deck out in their grandest gear.
The leaders of the pack by far this year were the Kapoors. Sisters Kareena and Karisma sported the same gorgeous look in chiffon saris and glittering diamond earrings. We simply cannot decide who looked prettier!
Then there were mother-daughter Neetu Kapoor and Ridhhima Kapoor-Sahni. Neetu is aging like fine wine. The older she gets the better she looks. Riddhima is chic-mix of her mom and dad. We love her simple blue sheath. Dad Rishi Kapoor was looking pretty spiff too in his formals. Rishi was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award. The clan also celebrated Ranbir's debut award. Hmm... should we include the exquisite Deepika Padukone in this family? Not yet perhaps...
