On Mansi Roy: Illustrious actress and wife of celebrity Rohit Roy: "Mansi wanted to work on overall conditioning. We concentrated on cardio, weight-training, stretching and flexibility. She was an excellent student. She is extremely courteous and disciplined. Plus I must add women, I think, try harder when it comes to fitness than men. Guys are generally leaner to begin with and usually concentrate more on weight training and strength building."
Binisha's Dos and Don'ts
- Do choose a Gym within one km of your living or work space. After the initial euphoria when one begins to exercise the will and determination wither.
- Do choose an activity that you like and not just because it's a fad.
- Do get a buddy. It's more fun to exercise with someone.
- Do get a trainer and proper medical counseling before or during your fitness regime. It will give you the guidance you may need also the willpower to continue with your program and to realize your goals.
- Don't expect results overnight. Remember the kilos accumulated over the years and will take some time and effort to rid.
- Do rest well and eat healthy foods.
- Do see a nutritionist if you are unsure, but usually 4-7 small meals that include low fat dairy products are a good bet.
