Food & Fitness formula of Ilene Hamann
 Currently she is living on samosas , paneer and gulab jamuns and yet maintaining the drop-dead bod and looks. Let's see how.
This super model from South Africa makes her Bollywood début in Pooja Bhatt's Rog . And though Rog in Hindi means disease, Ilene Hamann is absolutely fit. Ilene is dating a fashion photographer back home and has long term plans with him.
Meanwhile, in an exclusive with ShaadiTimes, Ilene shares how she keeps herself safe from any rog . Here is her fitness and food quotient just for you...
Ilene has been a successful model and her profession calls that she takes extra care about her fitness. Her routine compulsorily includes, "Skipping a lot and walking. This can make up for all exercises. Even if I don't go to the gym and work out, I can easily find time for skipping. I am into modelling and not into acting back home, so I have to stay in shape completely. There is no way I can compromise with that."
"We should take care of our skin as well as our body. We have to stay healthy. We can't be unhealthy and look good," philosophies Ilene.
What is her skin care formula? She smiles and says, "Just like most people, wash, tone and moisturise. There is no special formula. And also drink a lot of water but this is not just for skin but also to keep healthy."
Talking about Indian food during her shooting schedules, she says, "I have been eating most of the Indian food that they give on the set. I find it very spicy but at the same time I enjoy it quite a lot. In the beginning it was very hot but now I have been around enough to get used to it. Now I'm enjoying every bite of it."
Ilene loves the samosas and also various paneer preparations. "I love the Gulab Jamuns too, I can live on them at this point (of time)."
When asked if she wonders how her favourite food items are prepared, she says, "yes I do, but sometimes it is better not to know." (laughs)
She hasn't been to many eating joints in India so can't list her favourite Indian eateries. But globally she loves some places in Cape Town, SA, and also Sydney, Australia. "There is a place on the Bondi beach (Australia) called Tokyo Sun. They have the most amazing dishes, its incredible."
Back home she cooks amazing dishes herself. "I love cooking and now I am missing it for quite sometime," she says. "I love making baked potato with brown and white onion soup. I think it is really good and my boy friend also likes it."
While Ilene is waiting go be back home and relish her favourite dishes along with her boy friend, we shall wait to see how much she sizzles on the silver screen.
