What about love and relationships?
I will not consider getting married now as I am not sure about the space I will be getting into. And I do not want to do anything I am not comfortable or sure about.
Sandhya is an independent woman and a versatile actress today. What was Sandhya as a kid?
Independent kid and a versatile actress (laughs out). Well, there is not much of a difference between what I used to be as a kid and now. Inadvertently, I used to be a bit of rebel, spoke out whether there was injustice at home or outside. Sort of leader right through school days. Not so aggressive anymore but I still can't stand injustice happening and will speak out if I feel the need to.
What drives and motivates Sandhya? What keeps her going?
The sense of being and living. I think that's enough, to just be. Just the fact that I am living is enough to motivate me. Life is what keeps me going.
How do you like living life?
Recklessly and dangerously. Completely, openly and without chains. To put it simply - in my own way. And it is not difficult to live like that if you follow your instinct. ' The Alchemist ' put it best when it says that you have to follow your own path and go by your instinct where that path takes you. I've always followed my instinct and that's how it works for me.
What do you look for in a man or a relationship to give it or him importance?
He has to be completely comfortable with himself in his space and in his woman. I am a creature that is very independent. I can't be chained or put under any restrictions as then I go completely wrong. I am loyal as hell and if handled right, then one gets a relationship that's beautiful. That's why it is so important for the man to be comfortable with himself and in his space. I don't really mind if a man has been there and done that but he has to know what he is all about and has to be confident about how to handle me.
