Hattrick
Chilling out with Rimi Sen

Rimi Sen
Rimi Sen may have hit her career highs with Hungama. Dhoom, Phir Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Kyun Ki and Golmaal, but what probably keeps her feet strongly planted on the ground is that she has not forgotten the modest background and trying times that she has gone through in her initial days. She is sexy, she is cool and she is honest. That's Rimi Sen for you.

With her next film Hattrick ready to hit the theatres, shaaditimes catches up with her...

Tell us about your role in the film Hattrick
Well the film revolves around cricket. I get married to Kunal Kapoor who is a crazy cricket fan. Slowly I too develop an interest in cricket and have a crush on Dhoni which makes him jealous. Oops I'm not allowed to reveal the plot!

Why do we always see you doing comedies?
I'm more comfortable with comedy. I don't think the directors like me in a serious role. May be because of my (ever smiling) face or may be because I don't know acting!! I would want to do a serious role with a good director. But honestly I don't know why it's not happening!!

I have a deep feeling of insecurity and fear that one day I might not get good roles anymore. And whenever I think something negative something positive happens and when I think something positive, negative things happen.

But why do you suffer from insecurity?
I'm a very lazy person. I don't like building a PR or going to parties where I have to put on an artificial smile on my face. I'm a very straight forward person and if I meet anyone who has put on weight recently, I can't tell her that she is looking better than before. I can't tolerate pretensions. But since that might sound rude and might bring me to someone's bad books, I better avoid such situations by not going to parties. I prefer being my own natural self at home. For that matter I don't like giving interviews too and do not have a professional PR managing my job. My mom handles it.

How do you chill out?
In my leisure hours I work out regularly in the gym, play squash and watch movies.
