How do you think the event has been so far?
I think it has been excellent and we are looking forward to the next one.
A lot of new designers made their debut. What do you have to say?
I think we have given an excellent platform. 10 new designers have been chosen. We feel there had been a lot of promise and talent in them.
What do you have to say about the divide between Delhi and Mumbai's fashion scene?
I won't agree there is any divide and we should not put the blame on anyone. Not on the designers or on the two events.
You have organised the WLIFW at Pragati Maidan this time. How has it been?
Well it has been excellent. It's turned out really well as a venue for communication, for trade, for everything.
So the fashion week would be held at Pragati Maidan in the future?
For the time being I think so because it has been a great venue so far.
Who is your favourite designer?
I'm not a design person at all.
What do you feel is more important... fashion or comfort?
I would say comfort but then fashion can also come with comfort.
