Rathore Jodhpur - Royalty On The Ramp

As always, Raghvendra Rathore's collection was timeless and royal. Inspired by the Indian heritage, the collection had an Indo-Western look with everyday wear ensembles. The colours ranged from browns to mauve to darker shades. We caught up with him on a busy evening.
What was your inspiration?
(My collection has been) inspired by people, the culture, our heritage and the essence of India. The print has been inspired from bangles and jewellery pieces.
What are the colours of the season?
The colour yellow is very dominant... because Indian summer is happy, so all the colours should also be happy.
There don't seem to be many buyers at the fashion week this time?
There are quite a few but this place is to build a brand and send your vision across.
What is the USP of your collection?
Summer friendly, affordable, washable and versatile.
And what fabrics have you used?
Cotton Silk, which we got from Varanasi and South India.
