Romance and rains go together. The gentle sea breeze, the drizzle and downpour all bring out the lover in you. Monsoon is arguably the most romantic of all seasons.
When all that you want to do is head for the rain soaked places.
Let's rejoice for monsoon is here again.

The most romantic thing to do:
The most romantic thing to do would be a drive on the express way in an open car. I would love to get drenched if it rains. Besides being romantic, I think this drive will also be lots of fun! It's not only green everywhere, the air is so fresh that you can feel it.
The most romantic place to go:
Pune. We have a house there and it's very pretty in the monsoon, there is greenery around. I think Matheran would also make a good destination for a weekend getaway during rains.
Mouth watering dish:
Pani puri and Sev puri... and of course bhajiya
Monsoon wear:
It gets a bit cold and if you get wet then you feel even more cold. But I wouldn't want to go out in a rain coat (laughs). I will prefer a casual outfit and would carry a shawl to wrap around.
Most memorable monsoon moment:
I had gone to Sinhgarh along with my family. You have to go there in the monsoons. It's a fort, which was built by Shivaji and it is on the top of a mountain. The weather was so beautiful and I was in the midst of clouds. I can never forget that. And yes the icing on the cake is having piping hot Jhunka Bhakri atop the mountain.

The most romantic thing to do:
Walk hand in hand in the rains on the beach and then come back home and dry each other. I live on the beach side so I find this to be the most romantic thing to do during monsoon.
The most romantic place to go:
I shall be going to Calcutta this season for plays, so unfortunately I won't be able to have a great monsoon vacation. However, given a chance, I would love to go to Venice during rains. Lots of water, boats and rains would make it even more romantic than what it is!
Mouth watering dish:
Hot pakodas with tea... This season really calls for it!
Monsoon wear:
I think the lesser the better. Wet jeans are a no-no. Shorts and vests are the best this season.
Most memorable monsoon moment:
There are many moments. For example, going to a friend's farm in Karjat with lots of friends. We have spent great times there and have done really crazy things. There is a river with a little island in the centre. We had set up a tent on the island and lived there!!

The most romantic thing to do:
I think the most romantic thing to do this season would be to go for a long drive on a bike. I would of course not want to drive around in Mumbai. I think a drive to the interiors of Lonavala can be very exciting. I also love to swim in this season with water everywhere and also pouring from the Heaven above (laughs).
The most romantic place to go:
I have just come from Lonavala and now I shall go to Goa next month. Beaches and rains make a great combination. Goa is anyways a romantic place, monsoon makes it even more romantic.
Mouth watering dish:
Batata vada, pakoras and hot tea!
Monsoon wear:
Capris and nice tops. I would not like to spoil my bottoms.
Most memorable monsoon moment:
I can never forget my college trips in this season. They were called 'Monsoon Picnic' and I went for such trips for five years. They were great fun. We would go to dams, waterfalls around Karjat and have loads of fun with friends.

The most romantic thing to do:
I love the rains. This season has romance in the air. The most romantic thing for the season would be to take a walk along the seaside holding hands, getting wet in the rains, going to a cafe and having some ice creams and coffee. If it rains, I never run for shelter, I love getting soaked!
The most romantic place to go:
I think Goa would be the most romantic place to visit this season. The clean and beautiful place, greenery, rains, wet beaches makes it really sexy and an ideal romantic spot. Unfortunately, I will not be able to go there this monsoon as I am completely booked with work.
Mouth watering dish:
I am a complete foodie. I love everything. But if you ask me to pick one thing it will be something very sweet. I think ice cream in the rain just can't go wrong.
Monsoon wear:
I would like to wear something casual as well as formal. My monsoon wear is nice jeans, a white T-shirt, and a nice blazer. This would look good as well as serve as a protection against cold!
Most memorable monsoon moment:
This one is really funny... last monsoon I was going for a big shoot. I did not have a car then so I was travelling by a rickshaw. When I reached the shooting venue, the person for whom I was supposed to shoot was standing outside to receive me. It was pouring very heavily and one couldn't see the roads as there was water everywhere. I was supposed to shoot with two beautiful girls. I stepped outside the rickshaw staring at the girls and fell right into an open pot hole. It was really embarrassing then but now I find it very funny. It was my first monsoon in India and I got a taste of Indian roads as well!!
