John Abraham - All Set To Reach His Goal!

 John Abraham is a busy man. He was in Dubai for the premier of his film Goal, he has been giving interviews on international networks like BBC and Asian Network's Love Bollywood show, and he has been invited by the All India Football Federation as chief guest for their inaugural I League that starts in Goa on Saturday.
We spoke to the actor of the season about Bollywood, Goal, Bipasha and the sex symbol title given to him.
 If you were not an actor, what would you be?
John: If not an actor, I would have been in the advertising industry. That's what I was doing before I ventured into modelling. I was media planner for an ad agency.
You belong to a completely non-filmy background. How does your family handle your stardom?
John: They don't. They are very shy and simple people. They have their own life and they don't crave glamour. And most importantly, they don't think of me as a star and keep reminding me of that.
Do you like being called a male 'sex symbol'?
John: Who thinks I am sex symbol? (Laughs!!)
One career mistake you really regret?
John: I will tell you if you do not print it.
How are things with Bipasha?
John: Great! But like every relationship, I am working towards making it better.
What is your key to a successful five-year-old relationship?
John: Patience. Communication. Time.
Which current project of yours are you most excited about?
John: Goal. It is going to be released soon. It was such an exciting and fun project. I had to prepare like crazy. Learnt football in the true technical sense, went for a gruelling training camp, worked on my fitness and body language. I had to look convincing as a footballer.
One thing that you would change about yourself?
John: Only one thing. I eat like a pig! (Laughs)
 Your idea of a perfect woman?
John: If I say anybody else's name except Bipasha's, then I would get into trouble (laughs). But I really like Julia Roberts. Her smile is just dazzling and she is also a star performer.
What would you rather own? A private jet or a private island?
John: Hmmm...a private island. I can settle there once I retire.
What would you rather be doing now?
John: Sleeping. I have been travelling for the promotion of my film and I am so tired that I feel like a zombie.
Your favourite hobbies?
John: Travelling, working out, trying out different cuisines, reading and playing video games.
