''I Have A Great Rapport With Ramu''
Fardeen Khan
|
Some time back Sajid Khan commented that no filmmaker has yet been able to tap your inner potential correctly. Your comments?
This is Sajid Khan's opinion and I can't say anything about this. But I have worked in 21-22 films and have proved my acting prowess time and again. I have refined my talent continuously. In each film of mine, I put in my 100% and work with all my pace and energy.
Do you feel that what you deserve, you have got?
See, no.1 or no.2 does not have much meaning for me. I am not concerned about the numbers rat race. As I mentioned previously, I work with people I enjoy working with. As far as work is concerned, my vision is absolutely clear. This is why I don't really dwell on what I got or what I didn't.
Are you happy with all the films you have done so far, or wished you had not done some?
I am happy with all the films I have done so far. In fact, in some movies I have really played very diverse and different characters, and what's more have enjoyed doing so. Every film has given me renewed energy for my work.
You have done action and comedy both. Which do you enjoy more?
Even though there was action in 'Jungle ', I have not done too many action movies. I do more of comedy and romantic roles, and that is what I enjoy doing most.
Your father was going to remake 'Qurbani '?
He's working on it. The screenplay has not quite been perfected yet. My father Feroze Khan and Punit Sera are writing it together. What I can tell you is, even though it is the remake of 'Qurbani ', other than the basic premise of the movie, the screenplay is completely different and is being written to reflect today's modern times.
Your forthcoming movies and your role in them?
First and foremost, my flim 'Darling ' is releasing on 7th September, after which 'Dulha Mil Gaya ' and 'Jai Veeru ' follows. I play a millionaire playboy in 'Dulha Mil Gaya '. Apart from a new girl Ishita, this movie stars Shah Rukh Khan too. In 'Jai Veeru ', I play Jai - a police officer. Kunal Khemu plays Veeru. Dia Mirza is also in the movie. It has been directed by Punit Sera.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to travel and have travelled extensively throughout Europe. I also enjoy car racing; in fact it is one of my passions.
How has your life changed after being married to Natasha?
Everyone's life undergoes some changes after marriage. But I am still the same person. I have not changed as an individual, but yes; I do come home earlier, am more aware of my responsibilities and am now answerable to someone else.
Which movie of yours does your wife Natasha like?
She likes my 'No Entry '.
