Celebs On Celebrating New Year's Eve

Mumbai works hard and parties even harder. It is said often that the city never sleeps. We just need a reason to celebrate, don't we?

Shaaditimes caught up with a few famous faces to check what they did on New Year's Eve and their view on the way it is celebrated.

Spending money lavishly or partying till the wee hours, is this the only way to welcome the New Year?

Aamir Ali Aamir Ali - (TV Actor, Winner - Nach Baliye 3)
Celebration is all about enjoying the mood. I don't think that one has to go out of the house to celebrate any eve or any occasion for that matter. I was in Goa with my family and trust me I had the best New Year till date. I just enjoyed myself to the fullest and that is what really matters.

Anjori Alagh - (Film Actress, Debutant - Life Mein Kabhie Kabhie)
I don't think so. As far as I am concerned, I would rather spend the eve with my family and friends rather than going outside and spending money.

Rajeshwari Badola Rajeshwari Badola - (TV Actress, Hostess - K for Kishore)
It's very personal. If one finds happiness with spending money lavishly then he or she is free to do it. After all it is happiness that what really matters. If one thinks that I have worked hard the whole year and spending money or partying till late nights is going to bring happiness, then why not? There is no specific way for any kind of celebration.

Ali Asgar

Ali Asgar - (TV Actor, Kahanii Ghar Ki)
I am not much into parties. I am not a party animal. Instead of spending money, I would prefer to donate or may be do some charity. I try to spend any event with my family and that is what really gives me happiness and satisfaction.

Vaishnavi
Vaishnavi - (TV Actress, Choona Hai Aasman)
No way. I am a simple person. Every year I celebrate this eve with my family. We visited church, said prayers and then all my friends and family members came down to my house for the New Year celebration. We danced, sang and had a blast. Every year we celebrate this way and enjoy ourselves to the fullest.
